About the event
Sarsen stones have been taken from the Valley of Stones and used by people to build - from prehistoric monuments to modern roads. We are recording all the 1500 sarsens stones left in the Valley of Stones and we need your help! This field based session will teach you all you need to know to join in with this project. No experience is required.
We hope that after this session you will feel comfortable returning under your own steam to survey even more sarsens.
