Artist and Writer in Residence
We are very excited to be welcoming an artist and writer to the Living Amongst the Sarsens Project. Genevieve Carver and Ollie Cameron are both brilliantly creative and are going to bring an extra dimension to our work. They have already started to familiarise themselves with the landscape and thinking about ways in which it can inspire them and you!

Genevieve Carver
Genevieve Carver is a writer interested in human connections to landscape, ecology and the deep past. She is the author of three books of poetry and one novel for children, The Ocean and the Bones, which is inspired by the Neolithic period in Britain and was informed by her time working as an archaeologist. You can order her books though Waterstones or your local bookshop. We highly recommend them.
In 2026-2027 she will be creating new work and running creative writing workshops taking inspiration from the Valley of Stones landscape.

Ollie Cameron
Ollie Cameron is an artist and cartographer from Wiltshire whose practice uses drawing, mapping and printmaking to explore our layered relationship with landscape and heritage. Drawing inspiration from, and incorporating materials gathered while walking, he creates artwork exploring themes of memory, time and social history. He is drawn to collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects where creative storytelling opens up conversations around place, community and the quiet narratives embedded in the land itself.
