As part of an on-going survey project to record all the stones in the Valley of Stones. We would like volunteers to head out under their own steam to record the stones. The data is then compiled by the project in order to allow analysis of the stones.

About the event
We have recorded an online workshop that you can watch in your own time, but before you do it is best to get in touch to find out what ground conditions are like (high grass makes seeing the stones impossible), to be allocated an area and to request the recording forms). You will then be expected to spend a day or so (often volunteers have been out for several shorter sessions) recording the stones. You will need to be comfortable on your feet, the terrain ground is uneven and steep in places.
The training will provide you with all the knowledge you will need.
In due course we will also put on another 'in person' training workshop.
