Writing Workshop

Inspired by the Valley of Stones National Nature Reserve

Event Description

A creative writing workshop inspired by the Valley of Stones prehistoric landscape. Join poet and author Genevieve Carver for a fun guided session in which we’ll have a go at creating poems inspired by local archaeology and ecology. All abilities welcome and no prior experience necessary. This event will pair well with the Creative Guided Walk on the 1st Nov but it is not essential to attend both in order to learn and enjoy. Outputs from all the creative events will contribute towards our 2027 project exhibition and, for those who are interested, support and guidance can be given on further developing contributions for this.

Cancellation Policy

Many of our events are designed for relatively small groups to enable people to hear and interact. Consequently, late cancellations have a significant impact upon the number of people who are able to engage with the archaeology of the Valley of Stones. If you need to cancel please give as much notice as possible. We do not refund donations unless requested.
